Most goods are susceptible to unfavorable temperature-induced change, i.e. quality degradation/damage. This is referred to as the temperature sensitivity of the goods. The better the temperature in the container can be matched to the requirements of the cargo, the easier it is to maintain the quality of the cargo. |
